Black Cat at The Other Venice Film Festival / Oct 17, 2009

My friend, Rainbow Underhill, performed with her husband, Timothy Williams, along with several other musicians, at The Other Venice Film Festival (www.othervenicefilmfestival.com) on Saturday, Oct 17.  They performed live to “Bicycle After Death”, a short film they had made that was being screened at the Festival.  Reminiscent of old silent movies, the film portrays an impossible love story, where the main characters have equally billing with a Bone Bike and a skateboard.  I had seen this short several times before, as they often have it playing in the background of their Gallery events (www.blackcatart.com), but it was the first time I was completely mesmerized by it.
